About us

The Centre for Ageing Better is an independent charitable foundation, funded by The National Lottery Community Fund.

The Centre for Ageing Better creates change in policy and practice informed by evidence and works with partners across England to improve employment, housing, health and communities. We believe that more people living longer represents a huge opportunity for society and we want everyone to enjoy a good later life. But changes are needed so more people are in good health, are financially secure, are socially connected, and have a sense of meaning and purpose in later life. We have set out a bold ambition to do more on all these fronts.

We are striving to create an organisation that reflects our society and the communities we serve. A workplace where everyone feels empowered and where diversity of background and thought is celebrated. We know there is more work to be done and are committed to continuing to improve our practice around Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion.

We are a Positive Action employer, therefore in recruitment where two candidates are ‘as qualified as’ each other, we will favour a candidate from any group identified as currently underrepresented in our team based on protected characteristics as outlined in the Equality Act 2010.

About the role

As Innovation and Change Manager, you will support the Innovation and Change team in promoting innovation.

You will also support the Senior Innovation and Change Managers to ensure our work is integrated into our programmes and achieves the maximum contribution to later life goals.

You will work with colleagues from across the organisation to develop and manage project plans, delivery targets, reporting and payment schedules, and to ensure that all information is up-to-date and accurately recorded. You will also work with colleagues to support delivery of our approaches to learning.

About you

The successful candidate will have experience of developing and maintaining external networks in relation to projects. Experience of engagement with key external stakeholders is required.
