Job description

The Centre for Ageing Better is an independent charitable foundation. We believe that more people living longer represents a huge opportunity for society and we want everyone to enjoy a good later life. But changes are needed so more people are in good health, are financially secure, are socially connected, and have a sense of meaning and purpose in later life. Our new strategy sets out an ambition to do more on all these fronts.

As Innovation and Change Officer you will ensure that our projects to promote innovation and evidence-based practice are managed effectively and efficiently. You will work with senior colleagues to scope, commission and manage projects, ensure timely reporting and support project learning and communications. You will capture case studies and lessons from our project work, and provide support across the wider team to ensure the quality of our innovation and change activities.

The successful candidate will have excellent project management skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and manage delivery risks proactively. You will have experience of contract/grant management and working with suppliers and third parties to ensure timeliness, quality and cost control. You will be comfortable working on multiple projects simultaneously. A collaborative approach and a focus on supporting others to achieve results are essential.

To apply please send a CV and covering letter addressing how you meet the criteria for the role. The closing date for this role is 9am on Thursday 7th March with interviews to take place on Tuesday 19th March. Flexible working options will be considered.

Please complete the attached Equality and Diversity form and return alongside your covering letter and CV.
