The Centre for Ageing Better has a unique opportunity for a collaborative and innovative individual to join the team as Lincolnshire Partnership Manager. At the Centre for Ageing Better we want everyone to enjoy later life. We create change in policy and practice informed by evidence and work with partners across England to improve employment, housing, health and communities. We are a charitable foundation, funded by The National Lottery Community Fund, and part of the Government’s What Works Network.
As Lincolnshire Manager you will be in at the start of Ageing Better’s exciting new strategic partnership; helping to shape what works nationally in a rural and coastal area to create better later lives. You will act as key liaison between Ageing Better and our Lincolnshire partners including Lincolnshire County Council and East Lindsey District Council, providing project management across partnership activities, building new relationships and engaging stakeholders. Hosted and co-managed by Lincolnshire County Council, you will ensure our work is informed by evidence and also shaped by the lived experience of people in later life.
The successful candidate will have experience of developing effective partnerships across a range of organisations and be experienced in promoting change at the local level. You will be someone who can think strategically and identify new opportunities for collaboration and impact. An understanding of the local government and public/voluntary sector context and policy environment is essential.
