Are you interested in making London better for the people who live here? Do you want to gain experience running policy events?
Centre for London is a charity focused on London’s critical challenges. We identify things that aren’t working, research ways to improve them, and then speak with decision makers to persuade them to make the changes necessary to make London better. This could be relating to where people live, how we move around the city, the work we do and where we do it, and the way London connects with other areas of the UK.
In this role you build your experience of leading on event delivery – from inception to delivery. Our events range from private roundtables (10-20 people) to report launches (100+ guests) and our flagship London Conference event (500+ guests). You will line manage a member of staff – which we will support you to do.
This role would best suit someone who has already experience of delivering professional events – and is keen to share and try out new ideas. You will need to have an interest in how decisions are made about London, to be able to learn quickly, take on responsibility for logistical delivery of events and communicate well. We hope to soon return to in-person events; you will be part of the team to create new models for hybrid events.
This ideally is a full-time role, however, we would be open to applications from people who would like to work part-time.
Full details of the role can be found in the job description. If you meet the criteria in the person specification and are excited about this opportunity, we’d love to hear from you. The successful candidate must have permission to work in the UK by the start of their employment.
The client requests no contact from agencies or media sales.
