Bristol, Bristol City
£23,862 - £26,908 per year
Contract, 1 year, Full-time
Job description

CSE is one of the UK’s leading energy charities. We have a 40-year track record of helping people and organisations change the way they think and act on energy. We strive to develop effective responses to the threat of climate change and the misery of cold homes, both at a national level and more locally around Somerset and the West of England. CSE has around 90 staff who are based in modern offices in the centre of Bristol.

Due to the covid-19 pandemic we are currently combining home working and office working in-line with current Government guidance. We work with a wide range of partners and funders including the Big Lottery Fund, the Department of Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS), Ofgem, Citizens Advice, Esmee Fairbairn Foundation, Town and Country Planning Association (TCPA), Western Power Distribution, over 20 local authorities and housing associations and a range of different charitable trusts and foundations. Our 2018-19 Annual Report and Accounts can be found here.

We are looking for a dedicated and conscientious individual with experience of giving advice to people in vulnerable circumstances and who can relate to others in a sympathetic and understanding way.

This role will work on our innovative Warmer Homes and Money project that works with different partners across Bristol to provide advice and support to householders.

We particularly welcome applications from the Black, Asian and minority ethnic and disabled communities, as they are under-represented at CSE.
