Bristol, Bristol City
£37,126 - £47,507 per year
Permanent, Full-time
Job description

This is an excellent opportunity for an engagement professional with significant experience of design, delivery and management of place-based stakeholder engagement processes. You'll be spearheading our efforts to secure widespread support for the fair transformation of local energy systems.

The successful candidate will drive our stakeholder engagement processes in local energy planning, strategy and policy development work, and within our infrastructure, software and behaviour-change focussed local energy projects. All of these have the potential to shift the way that individuals, organisations and communities interact with the energy system.

The role will also involve providing expert guidance and support in stakeholder engagement to key actors in local energy systems - including local authority officers and community groups - to help them shape and deliver effective responses to the climate emergency.

We particularly welcome applications from the Black, brown, minority ethnic and disabled communities, as they are under-represented at CSE. Appointment will always, however, be made on merit and judged against the job description and person specification.

Closing date: 31st August at 12pm noon.
