About this role
Centrepoint has an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual to join our successful Individual Giving team as a Direct Marketing Officer. This is a full time role working 37.5 hours a week, based at our Head Office in Aldgate, London.
This is an incredibly exciting time for Centrepoint as the entire organisation is rallying behind our ambitious strategy to raise £22m across 2020 in voluntary income that will work towards ending youth homelessness. To enable this strategy to become a reality, we are working to capitalize on digital opportunities that will help us to increase our annual income. This is your chance to test and implement new ideas to the table and play your part to deliver this ambitious target we are striving to achieve.
In this key role, you will play an integral part in the development team, working to deliver our donor development and retention programme and help raise £2m in cash income from our existing supporters in 2020. Working in line with annual income targets, it will be your responsibility to utilise a variety of marketing channels including DM, email, website and telephone to drive engagement.
You will be required to build and maintain strong working relationships with external agencies and other internal teams within Centrepoint to share and collaborate on ideas. We are now looking for an experienced and motivated fundraiser to join the ambitious team to help us drive even greater success going forward.
Centrepoint are looking for an individual who is passionate about ending youth homelessness for good. You will be motivated and enthusiastic about contributing your ideas and recommendations to our current development campaigns in both a traditional and digital capacity, working to build upon opportunities that may arise. You will have the ability to build great, effective working relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders and liaise in a friendly and professional manner. Ability to prioritise workload and manage numerous tasks in order to achieve deadlines.
You'll have a track record in direct marketing that has seen you use traditional and online methods to develop donors. Used to preparing, maintaining and reporting on income and expenditure budgets using spreadsheets, you'll be experienced in interpreting data and have a high level of numeracy and accuracy. Results driven, collaborative and customer focused and are willing to challenge the status quo and introduce new ideas, methods and processes.
