Fulfilling Lives; Lambeth, Lewisham & Southwark is funded by The National Lottery Community Fund and part of the National Fulfilling Lives Programme. The project is delivered by Certitude in partnership with Thamesreach and the strategic partners from the three boroughs. The aim is to test new ways of supporting people with multiple needs with the aim to understand how systems can improve to enable people to live more fulfilling lives and achieve better outcomes.
The team has three core parts - a team who delivers direct support to people facing multiple disadvantage (multiple needs combination of mental health needs, substance use, at risk or and history of homelessness and/or offending), a team who identifies and extracts the learning with an external partner who will support us to evaluate system improvements, underpinned by a team that places the lived experience at the centre of the programme. Together we will help shape and influence identified system change.
Following a review of the programme last year, for the remaining three years we are appointing several new exciting opportunities within the programme.
Community Partners (x3) Salary £20,402 per annum
We are looking for a team of Community Partners to build and develop a community that lives beyond the programme to reduce the stigma and isolation often felt by people facing multiple disadvantage. Strengthening effective and lasting relationships within the local community, to identify what support best suits an individual outside of statutory services.
Becoming a Community Partner is a unique and exciting opportunity. You will champion the voice of lived experience within the local communities and national programme. Positively challenging stigma through strengthening connections created in communities. You will work with an understanding of how trauma affects the people we support, and be actively involved in learning, identifying and supporting system change.
Reporting to the Peer Programme Lead; Peer link workers and Community Partners will be part of the team who draws on their own lived experience (as defined by the programme) to support others, inspire hope, encouraging people we support to contribute and feel valued, reaching their full potential in their communities. The team will develop relationships across the boroughs with service user groups and forums to further strengthen the input of those with lived experience towards influencing system improvement.
