Change Grow Live are looking for Business Development Managers to join our national Business Development Team.

We want experienced business development professionals or individuals with comparable/transferrable experience, who share our passion for supporting people to make positive changes in their lives.

We are one of the UK’s largest charities, providing a range of services including community and prison substance misuse, criminal justice, adult wellbeing, children and young people’s and housing/homelessness.

We want experienced business development professionals or individuals with comparable/transferrable experience, who share our passion for supporting people to make positive changes in their lives.

Joining us means taking on a key leadership role as part of our successful national team, and the chance to share and further develop your skills, knowledge and experience, whilst working with great people from across our organisation.

Last year we submitted over 40 tenders, winning and retaining contracts with an annual value of almost £50 million but what this really means to us is that we can provide more support to more people across the UK.

The role

Working as part of Change Grow Live’s national Business Development Team, you will lead and manage one of our four regional Business Development Teams.

You will have joint responsibility for retaining existing contracts and winning new business opportunities in your region, including all aspects of the tender process.

You will work collaboratively with senior stakeholders including Executive Directors, Directors, clinicians and departmental leads to develop service delivery models, budgets and partnerships for tenders.

As part of our Business Development Management Team you will lead on improving the quality of our work and developing our team culture, by thinking creatively, sharing your own knowledge and experiences, and challenging existing ways of working.

Ultimately you play a key role in the design, development and delivery of our services and will help us to deliver on our organisational mission, strategy and values.

Check out the job description for more information, and you can call Guy Rainey, Head of Business Development, to discuss this role further.

About you

You’ll be an experienced manager and leader.

You might have a proven track record in business development or have worked in operational management or other comparable leadership/management roles.

You’ll be a highly competent project manager, with proven experience of leading and managing complex tenders or other projects.

You’ll be a confident and highly competent communicator who is able to engage and influence senior stakeholders.

You’ll have excellent IT skills, be highly numerate and be able to analyse and work with complex data and financial information.

You’ll be a team player, who respects the experience and skills of their team, and is able to give and receive challenging feedback.

You’ll share our passion for our values and mission, and you’ll be ready to work hard to achieve these.

Above all, you’ll want to use and share your skills and experience to develop winning tenders for services that help people to make positive changes in their lives.

Why work for Change Grow Live

Change Grow Live believes in people and we’ll support you to develop and grow. You’ll be joining a diverse team which welcomes new ideas and new ways of working.

As well as competitive pay, pension and other benefits (including London weighting if applicable), you’ll benefit from a positive, supportive and flexible working environment which includes:

  • Regional offices across the UK, including London, Brighton, Manchester, Sheffield and Leeds;
  • The option to work from home;
  • Flexible hours and working patterns including compressed hours and job share options.
