Job description

About us

Changing Our Lives is a rights based organisation that works in coproduction with disabled people and people with experience of mental health difficulties, finding solutions that enable them to lead ordinary lives that many of us take for granted.

Person specification

We are looking for an experienced individual, who is passionate about the rights of disabled people and people with experience of mental health difficulties. You will not be afraid to challenge but equally you will be able to develop strong relationships which can be drawn on to bring about change for individuals as well as strategic change.

What you will do

You will be working in a fast paced environment across a range of coproduced projects so you will need to be comfortable with change as often people start with one idea and it naturally develops and evolves. You will be comfortable working in the community, with local people enabling them to lead projects and equally as comfortable talking to senior figures, negotiating change. You will be working across the West Midlands, with occassional work in other areas of England.

Stage 1 Interviews will be held on  22nd Jan in Wolverhampton

Stage 2 interviews will be held on  27th or 31st Jan in Hagley.
