Changing Our Lives is a rights based organisation that works in coproduction with disabled people and people with experience of mental health difficulties, finding solutions that enable them to lead ordinary lives that many of us take for granted. We are looking for a passionate individual commited to people's rights.
You will be practical and very organised, a 'people person' able to communicate with a range of people including young people, adults and professsionals. You will be working in a fast paced environment across a range of projects, so you will need to be comfortable with change as people often start with one idea and it naturally evolves and changes.
You will be working across the West Midlands, with occassional work in other areas of England. This is a position in which we will support an individual with less experience who is enthusiastic, a hard worker and willing to learn.
The minimum requirement is 3 years working with disabled people, people with mental health difficulties or other people who have been disadvantaged.
Stage 1 Interviews will be held on 22nd Jan in Wolverhampton
Stage 2 interviews will be held on 27th or 31st Jan in Hagley.
The client requests no contact from agencies or media sales.
