Job Title: Corporate Business Development Officer
Salary: £24,000 - £27,000 (depending on experience)
Location: South Oxford
A pioneering cancer research charity in Oxfordshire is looking for a confident, driven and enthusiastic individual to join their expanding team as a Corporate Business Development Officer.
You will be responsible for identifying, prospecting and growing corporate relationships. You will ensure that each relationship is managed and developed to maximise its full potential and you will represent the organisation to corporate supporters, including making presentations and pitches. In addition, you will produce partnership proposals, sponsorship offerings and brief colleagues and volunteers on issues related to Corporate Fundraising.
Ideally you will have gained some experience of working within a corporate fundraising role but candidates who have developed corporate relationships in the commercial sector and have a proven track record in partnership acquisition, business development or sales will also be of interest.
This is a rewarding role that will require the post holder to demonstrate the following:
- Experience in writing proposals, delivering pitches and presentations
- Strong administrative skills, including being a competent user of Excel and databases
- Good organisational skills, with a very high level of attention to detail
- Strong relationship building skills
- Excellent ability to manage a varied workload
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
You will be an energetic and enthusiastic team player, have an excellent telephone manner and possess fantastic communication skills.
