Job Title: Corporate Partnerships Specialist
Hours: 37.5 hours, permanent
Salary: £27,000 to £33,000 per annum
Location: Remote / London or able to commute to London for meetings
We are working in partnership with an East London homelessness charity, whose mission is to build hope, enable lasting change, and end homelessness for people in East London. They help people in the local community by providing safe places to stay, offering support, through the provision of personalised educational and life skills opportunities and by building resilience.
They are now seeking a Corporate Partnerships Specialist to lead the organisation’s corporate fundraising activity, with a focus on maximising income and raising awareness of the work of the charity. The role will ensure that corporate fundraising continues to grow as a crucial source of income, developing new fundraising ideas and initiatives in collaboration with supporters, as well as making applications to corporate foundations. The key to your success will be your ability to research, engage and steward new and existing corporate partners. The role will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to significantly increase income and other support from these areas, in-line with the overall fundraising targets and the organisational strategy. The role will work closely with the wider Fundraising and Communications team and senior managers.
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate:
- Experience of working in corporate fundraising or similar role in a charity, with knowledge of the various ways in which corporates can support a charity, and the motivations and decision-making processes driving corporate giving.
- Experience of developing existing income streams and new fundraising initiatives.
- Experience of planning and working towards targets.
- Experience of using a CRM system or database within a fundraising environment.
We are seeking a creative and lateral thinker, who is focused, and results driven. The ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders and build strong working relationships with supporters of all levels, as well as the confidence to network, persuade and negotiate effectively is essential.
