Job description

Job Title:  Services Delivery and Development Director

Hours:  Full time

Salary:  up to £50,000 depending on experience

Location:  Woking, hybrid working

We are working in partnership with a mental health charity seeking their next Services deliver and Development Director.  The charity’s primary role is to make sure that no adult in their local and surrounding area has to suffer from a mental illness alone. They provide advice and support to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem and campaign to improve services, raise awareness and promote understanding until everyone experiencing a mental health.

Reporting into the CEO, this is a key position in delivering the strategic aims of the charity.  You will be experienced in managing staff and delivering high quality services. The role will require a proactive individual who can multi-task and is used to a busy and varied environment and will demonstrate:

  • Understanding of all aspects of managing a team including, appraisals, performance, training etc
  • Experience of Managing budgets ensuring Operational Services are delivered within budget, producing reports and budget preparation and monitoring for grants
  • Identify opportunities to work with partners across Surrey to identify areas for collaboration, sharing of best practice and utilising resources for maximum benefit
  • Develop and review appropriate policies and protocols including, risk, complaints/compliments

You will be experienced in managing staff and delivering high quality services.  The role will require a proactive individual who can multi-task and is used to a busy and varied environment.  Attention to detail and strong organisational skills are essential, as is experience in a similar role.  The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, and the ability to engage with people from different backgrounds, including empathy with people with a mental health condition.  If you feel you have the relevant skills and experience, we would like to hear from you.
