We are working in partnership with a Higher Education Corporation, who is recognised for inspiring learning, advancing knowledge and enriching society through the fusion of education, research and practice. Their highly skilled and creative workforce is comprised of individuals drawn from a broad cross section of the globe, who reflect a variety of backgrounds, talents, perspectives, and experiences that help to build their global learning community.
They are seeking a Trusts and Stewardship Officer, who will be responsible for building on their established trust and stewardship programmes, taking fundraising to the next level. The postholder will undertake research, make applications and hold reporting responsibility to funders. Supporting other members of the fundraising team by managing the stewardship programme, ensuring that all donors receive timely and appropriate reports and relationship management, is also expected. With interesting projects and excellent contacts, they are looking for a skilled trust fundraiser to help grow income and increase impact.
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate:
- Experience of trust fundraising, including research, drafting applications, reporting and maintaining relationships
- Experience of forming and maintaining constructive working relationships with high level and high net worth individuals
- Experience of meeting work-based targets, preferably in a fundraising environment
- Experience in writing copy for different audiences
We are seeking a diplomatic individual with excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, and the ability to build relationships with people at all levels. The capability to work to tight timescales, and produce high quality and accurate work, in a busy environment is essential.
