You will have the opportunity to work with various charities, both UK based and those involved in overseas development and conservation. Some of our campaigns are regular giving and others are lottery campaigns.
As a Manager of a Zen team, you will be responsible for:

- The organisation and logistics of your teams
- The motivation and morale of your teams
- Staff retention and development
- Achieving quality and quantity goals
Reporting directly to the National Fundraising Manager, Zen will ensure that you are supported to develop and grow within the role. We have a highly experienced, devoted and caring team of managers and office staff, covering various roles such as client account management, compliance, HR, welcome calling, training, and administration. Zen will ensure that you are warmly welcomed and quickly feel part of the family. You will always know where to turn with a query and you will be given clear expectations and goals for the development of yourself, your career and your team.

About You:
The Client Services team is looking for an account executive to build and manage relationships with clients and help them to deliver exceptional supporter-led fundraising. You will be an experienced account executive or account manager working with outsourced business processes for a minimum of 2 years.
You will need to have strong organisation and communication skills, experience of managing workflows, and a high level of emotional intelligence. You’ll also need an eye for detail; be able to meet deadlines; have excellent written skills; and be a great communicator and able to form relationships with staff and clients. It’ll help if you’re technically savvy and able to keep on top of our clients’ needs.
The Role:
Return Fundraising was founded in 2015 with a clear mission: to bring together professional charity and agency fundraisers to improve the voice of telephone fundraising. We’ve been growing ever since: pioneering supporter-led fundraising with genuine conversations and long-term relationships.
Now, with new products gaining momentum and the business attracting new clients, we are again planning to expand our team, and are looking for the very best to jump aboard. The Client Services team is looking for an account executive to build and manage relationships with clients and help them to deliver exceptional supporter-led fundraising.
Main responsibilities:

Develop strong relationships with clients and proactively keep in regular contact, particularly by phone and in person

Reporting to clients on the performance of their campaign and being a point of contact for clients during their campaigns

Liaising between the client, the client services director and the operations team
-
Work with your line manager to deliver client projects on time and on budget and with the exceptional supporter-led fundraising that Return Fundraising is known

Use our project management system to manage workflow, including schedules for your projects, keeping them updated and making sure everything is on track.

Support the management team with scoping, costing and estimating projects

Help grow the business by identifying new opportunities; speaking to potential clients, organising introduction meetings, and working with your line manager to research clients, develop ideas and prepare proposals

Administrative support to the team, including preparing minutes and agendas, campaign review documents and other administrative tasks
Skills and Experience
Essential:
-
At least 2 years’ experience of working as an account manager or executive
-
Ability to be organised and keep on top of deadlines
-
Develop strong relationships with clients and proactively keep in regular contact, particularly by phone and in person

Ability to be flexible; respond positively to change

Work effectively under pressure and deal with conflicting priorities

Excellent communication skills

Experience of managing small projects

Self starter who takes responsibility for their own work and actions.

Provides evidence of effective IT skills

Attention to detail to enable production of high quality documentation such as minutes, agendas and proposals.
Desirable:

Educated to degree level

Experience of telephone handling, with a confident and friendly telephone manner
Basic understanding of fundraising and/or marketing

Demonstrable experience of negotiating with clients and colleagues about the details of campaigns

Clear understanding of data flow processes and how to manage CRM systems

Our Offer:
