We are looking for a Fundraising Assistant to join the organisation and play an integral role in supporting the Fundraising team across a range of events and activities. The role will be incredibly varied and will involve a range of tasks including thanking supporters, sending out fundraising packs, updating the CRM system, distributing literature for events and ensuring excellent customer service is provided when engaging with supporters at all times. As Fundraising Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the wider fundraising function and will be required to assist in other areas of fundraising including Trust & Foundations and Corporate Fundraising.
To be considered for this role you should be a strong and confident administrator with excellent organisational skills and a high level of attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines. You should possess good written communication skills but also be a personable individual and able to communicate with a range of audiences both internal and external to the organisation. Ideally you should have experience working with CRM systems and databases and experience working within the charity sector would be advantageous (but not a pre-requisite). Perhaps most importantly you should be passionate about the wonderful work of this fantastic charity and be committed to working as part of a team to support others to achieve great results.
