Here at Charity Horizons we are delighted to be taking our partnership with Chell Perkins to the next stage and recruiting yet another Fundraising Officer into this exciting organisation. Diversifying the fundraising workforce is something we are hugely passionate about, and by working in continued partnership with the brilliant Chell Perkins we are continuing our focus on attracting new talent into our sector this January! 

Chell Perkins exists to make a very real and lasting impact on the third sector. As an organisation they are wanting to identify, partner with and nurture the next generation of potential fundraisers and we are looking for a Fundraising Officer to join their team! Chell Perkins work with a range of organisations providing them will exceptional and affordable fundraising support meaning that in the role of Fundraising Officer you will have exposure to a huge range of charities and causes. 

As Fundraising Officer you will embark on a training programme that will teach you everything you need to know about fundraising! You will receive robust support and training throughout the 5 year programme and will be responsible for delivering work from day one. With 5 clearly mapped out phases of this programme you will be challenged and stimulated continuously and on completion of the course you will be a fundraising expert, trained in every aspect of the job and capable of talking to clients and organisations of all shapes and sizes. While the programme offers 5 years of learning and guidance, the core element of training is actually conducted in the first 18 months and by this point you will have both qualifications and experience that will set you up for a career in fundraising. 

To be considered for this role you should come to us with the hunger and drive to embark on a career in the Third Sector and, be excited by the prospect of both learning and training but also of being hands on from day one. You should have an ability to juggle multiple priorities, work towards deadlines and manage a busy and diverse workload. Perhaps most importantly you should be a strong and confident communicator, able to build relationships with a range of audiences and also write in a compelling and creative way.

The salary for the role is £18,000, but will rise by £2,000 annually throughout the 5 year programme. 

The role will allow you the option to work remotely from anywhere within Great Britain will require you to travel to meet with charities and clients making the working environment a varied and interesting one. The deadline for the role is Friday 21st January, with interviews scheduled for early February.
