Here at Charity Horizons we are incredibly excited to be working with a national health charity that is the leading source of support within its field in the UK. With incredible values, a clear vision and a proactive mission this charity is tackling a specific medical condition head on, providing expert advice and information and encouraging prevention through education and treatment. This fantastic organisation is looking for a Grants Manager to join their highly successful team during this exciting time in the charity’s development. 

As Grants Manager you will be responsible for generating income by identifying and researching suitable grant making bodies and submitting applications with a value of £5,000 and over. Focussing on these larger multi-year grants you will be required to create and maintain strong relationships with a range of grant funders including new prospects as well as those known to the organisation already. As part of this role, you will also take on accountability for maintaining an accurate donor database and ensuring excellent funder management. Working as part of the wider team you will work collaboratively with colleagues in developing new funding campaigns and support one another in achieving individual and team income targets.

To be considered for this varied and integral role you should come to us with a demonstrable track record of raising income from trusts and grants applications. You should have significant experience in prospect research, supporter relationship management and stewardship as well as being proficient in the use of systems to manage, monitor and report fundraising activity. You should be a strong communicator with an ability to translate project and core income needs into creative and persuasive grant fundraising applications. Working from home you will need to be an exceptional team player with a collaborative approach and an ability to remain focussed in a changeable environment.
