We are supporting this incredible organisation in their search for a Regional Fundraiser in the North West. 


The role 


The Regional Fundraiser will be responsible for engaging with current and potential supporters to generate leads to raise funds for the organisation. As the principal contact for fundraising within the area you will represent and promote the work, vision and purpose of the charity regionally.


Your responsibilities will include: 

  • Developing and delivering plans for local/regional fundraising across the North West
  • Working closely with the Head of Fundraising to identify and engage with new corporate contacts as nurturing relationships with existing corporate contacts  
  • Actively developing relationships with groups, associations, schools, rotary, and individuals whilst providing excellent stewardship and relationship management for supporters 
  • Contributing to the delivery of the overall Regional Fundraising strategic goals 
  • Creating and managing an income budget across multiple income streams 
  • Recruiting, supporting, motivating and developing fundraising volunteers


The person 

We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic, and personable individual excited by the prospect of raising money for this incredible charity!

  • Ideally you will come to us with relevant experience within a fundraising role and a track record of achieving and meeting and exceeding fundraising targets through various income channels.
  • We would also be happy consider applications from transferrable backgrounds such as sales, business development, CSR, community roles or relevant volunteer experience.
  • To be considered for this position you should come to us with good organisational skills, strong communication skills and the ability to persuade and build relationships with a range of audiences.
  • Most importantly, you should be comfortable engaging sensitively with affected families and offer your empathy and support to those who have benefited from this wonderful charity.

With a satellite office based in Stockport the role offers the successful applicant the opportunity to work flexibly ideally 3 days in the office and 2 from home.
