Fundraising at Guy's and St Thomas' is growing rapidly following the establishment of a new directorate at King's College London in 2018. Having identified significant untapped potential and opportunity, a new Associate Director role has been created as part of Fundraising Leadership team, to take on responsibility for Fundraising across the Guy's Cancer brand and its portfolio of programmes.
The scope is tremendous; with a broad range of exciting projects to fundraise for, untapped networks to connect with and investment in new brands and digital platforms. The profile of Guy's and St Thomas' and the NHS has risen considerably during the Covid-19 crisis and there is now a real opportunity to maximise new opportunities and take fundraising to the next level.
We are seeking an experienced, emotionally intelligent fundraising leader to substantially grow our fundraising programme in line with the objectives set out in the our 4 year strategy and unlock all of this potential to support patients across Guy's and St Thomas' Hospitals and its wider community networks.
In addition to being excited by the potential of this role, we are looking for an outstanding candidate who:
* Has an excellent track record in growing High Value Fundraising programmes
* Is a great relationship manager with the capacity to build outstanding internal and external relationships within a complex organisation
* Can demonstrate the capacity to lead and develop an innovative and ambitious operational plan for the growth of fundraising across Guy's Cancer
* Can evidence substantial leadership skills and the ability to inspire and motivate a fundraising team
