This role with Imago Dei Prison Ministry is a unique opportunity. The role remit is wide and varied across the different fundraising streams, such as grant-making trusts, regular individual donors, sponsorship, legacies, and high net worth donors.
We are looking for someone with experience in Fundraising. Primarily, securing funds through Trusts and Foundations. The suitable applicant will work alongside the Director, Development Manager and the Board of Trustees.
Imago Dei (ID) Prison Ministry is a Christian charity set up to help and support offenders and ex-offenders in the South East. ID Prison Ministry has a strong Christian ethos that runs through everything they do. They work with and help people of all faiths or none. Their purpose is to encourage and support Christian offenders in their faith in Jesus Christ. They do this by seeing all prisoners, regardless of faith empowered to change their lives with a new hope for the future. A factor in their success is to see prisoners integrate back in to society with ease.
The charity fundraiser will research prospective donors and target those whose criteria match ID's aims and activities. You will complete funding proposals from Grant Organisations, in turn create a strong fundraising message that appeals to potential donors.
This is a magnificent role, which offers flexibility to the successful applicant. The charity have a clear and concise message and their work is incredibly valuable, especially at this time.
