Charity People are proud to be working in partnership with the incredible homelessness charity Cardinal Hume Centre to find an Individual Giving Fundraising Manager to lead on Individual Giving income, and Digital efforts. This is a new role for the Centre which gives you scope for strategic and creative development
Job Title: Individual Giving Fundraising Manager
Organisation: Cardinal Hume Centre
Location: Westminster, London
Contract: Permanent, Full time
Closing Date: Friday 29th May 2020
Required: CV and Cover Letter
This brand new role requires someone with a creative and innovative mind set. You will take the lead on all things Individual Giving, whilst creating a new avenue of income and possibilities through digital means. The ideal person for the role will be confident in managing a superbly committed Fundraising Administrator, as well as building on a successful Individual Giving portfolio.
The Cardinal Hume Centre was established in 1986. The charity runs fantastic services for homeless young people and families in need from the local community on one site, in Westminster. But, it is so much more than a homelessness charity. The people they help are supported to gain skills and support to overcome poverty and avoid homelessness. They currently run six programmes ranging from a running hostel; employment and learning support, to immigration advice and advocacy. The Individual Giving Fundraising Manager will play a pivotal role in funding these programmes as well as other imperative services.
As this role is new, there will be an emphasis on putting a budget and a plan together for this income and what you and the Fundraising Administrator will be able to achieve. You will have a family unit working with you in the fundraising team. One of the most alluring aspects of this role is the fundraising team itself. It's an environment where you will work with people equally passionate about their work with the charity, whilst enjoying close knit environment that each thrive in.
In this role, you will manage the individual giving income and expenditure to build for medium-term growth, with regular donor data analysis and monthly income monitoring reports. You will also develop and implement an improved and sustainable strategy for individual giving within the values of the Cardinal Hume Centre, despite an ageing donor base, using excellent data analysis to inform communications and marketing decisions.
This new role is unique and will come with many benefits. It's with a phenomenal charity looking to reach further young people who desperately need their services.
