Victim Support is a fantastic organisation whose specialist teams provide tailored support to help people recover from the effects of crime and traumatic events. They advocate for victims' rights and make sure their needs are met and properly represented in the criminal justice system. This Charity has been established for over 40 years, and although it is an independent organisation, it works closely with the police, government and local authorities. They are in contact with over one million victims of crime on a yearly basis, providing essential information, advice and support.

As Business Development Officer you will be responsible for liaising with potential customers and partners, understanding their needs and building relationships to grow successful business. You will prepare and submit applications in response to competitive tenders, and for grants and trusts; you will develop bid responses to meet customer specifications and monitor and report on progress against key milestones on the bid plan.

We are looking for enthusiastic applicants, always looking to develop and drive new business opportunities. You will have prior experience of developing and writing bids and knowledge of grants and trusts applications processes. You will be a confident decision maker, able to competently manage multiple activities and deliver them under tight deadlines, and be a positive influence to assist your team in achieving optimum results.
