Manchester, Greater Manchester
£28000.00 - £32000.00 per annum
Job description

Tax matters. It helps to fund vital goods and services that make our economy and communities fairer, happier and healthier. We're looking for a Communications and Events Manager to support the brilliant work of Fair Tax Mark; a unique not-for-profit that proudly encourages and celebrates organisations that pay the right amount of corporation tax at the right time and in the right place, bridging the gap between CSR and the wider tax justice movement.

Offering flexible working with a small, passionate and talented team, you'll help widen Fair Tax Mark's reach and engagement with a broad remit to develop, manage, plan and review communications. You'll generate creative digital content to effectively engage stakeholders, supporters and businesses, as well as designing and running a range of imaginative external events, including the flagship Fair Tax conference as part of Fair Tax Week.

Our dream candidate will be someone with broad communications experience across both traditional and digital platforms. You'll be comfortable taking a hands-on approach and working alongside existing PR and graphic design support. This job will require the versatility to deal directly with clients that range from large, high-profile multinationals through to co-operatives, social enterprises and NGOs.

You'll be a confident and skilled communicator, able to write engaging copy for both corporate and consumer audiences. As part of a small team, you'll manage your own workload and take overall responsibility for events from concept through to delivery, managing all elements of these projects to ensure they meet the expectations of our sponsors.

If you think you have the skills and experience and care passionately about social justice, we'd love to hear from you. Please apply initially with a copy of your CV to our North West consultant, Amelia Lee: [email protected]

Please note: our final deadline for this role is 9am on Thursday 12th December with a view to interviewing on 17th and 18th December. Due to short timescales, please do send your CV ASAP if you want to apply as we are working on a rolling basis and may close early depending on response.
