Charity People are proud to be working with an amazing health charity that to recruit their new Events & Community Officer. This exciting and varied role, based from Aldgate, will involve delivering the charity's challenge event portfolio and engage with a wide range of volunteers, membership groups and associations, students and local businesses. You will lead on the delivery of key challenge and special events, such as London Marathon, Royal Parks Foundation Half Marathon and their own carol concert. We are looking for a candidate who is a confident self-starter, who can build rapport quickly, has a natural passion for building relationships and delivering the highest levels of stewardship. You will be an ambitious fundraiser with a minimum of 12 months community or events fundraising under your belt.
This is an amazing opportunity with responsibility for various fundraising streams, from philanthropy, community and events and corporate fundraising - it's a great chance to develop your expertise in these various fields and collaborate with various teams. As the challenge and special events portfolio is relatively developed, they are looking for an ambitious fundraiser who is experienced in new product development who is confident to develop new relationships with community and volunteer groups to further build the community fundraising side of the charity
The ideal candidate will be a stewardship-focused fundraiser, be resilience in outlook and have great relationship-building skills, ideally with experience of having developed volunteer fundraising groups.
The role is a full-time, permanent role to be based from Aldgate, London. It is paying £25,000 and applicants will need to send through cover letters and CVs. We are submitting applicants on a rolling basis so please get in touch as soon as possible!
