Job Description

Digital and Direct Marketing Executive
Refuge
Tower Hill
£26,000
Deadline - 17th June

Charity People are delighted to be partnering with the charity Refuge. Based near Tower Hill, Refuge believe that no-one should have to live in fear of violence and abuse. On any given day Refuge supports more than 6,000 clients, helping them rebuild their lives and overcome many different forms of violence and abuse; for example domestic violence, sexual violence, so-called 'honour'-based violence, human trafficking and modern slavery, and female genital mutilation.

Refuge run a range of specialist services to help survivors access safety and rebuild their lives. They understand each person's circumstances and needs are different and that survivors need different services at different times. Their expert staff work closely, and confidentially, with every individual to develop a bespoke support plan. If a person is not sure what service she wants or needs, Refuge will support her to explore her options.

We are currently looking to recruit a Digital and Direct Marketing Executive to come in and work to grow the individual giving and legacy income of the Charity by delivering digital and direct marketing fundraising activity to recruit, retain and engage supporters. This role will also work closely with the Supporter Care Officer to ensure that all individual giving supporters feel appreciated and that their donations are processed quickly and accurately.

An exciting and varied role, you will manage marketing channels such as email, SMS, direct mail and telemarketing. You will take ownership of the campaigns and this will include managing agencies, recruiting new supporters, promoting existing products and campaign analysis.

We are looking for someone with experience of creating and delivering successful programmes and campaigns to grow income through integrated direct marketing fundraising campaigns, utilising traditional and digital techniques. You would have experience of creating/editing copy across online and offline channels with an understanding of what motivates our supporters to give along with experience of using social media marketing/advertising and fundraising/communications for supporter acquisition.

Charity People are handling all applications for the role; any direct applications will be forwarded to Ben Garner at Charity People.
