Providing older dog lovers across the North East with professionally assessed two and four legged friends, Wag and Company is a unique small charity with big ambitions and growing to make an even bigger difference to the lives of elderly people in the local community, the North East of England.
With an exciting 3 year, lottery-funded digital transformation project about to start, Wag & Company is developing the capability to more than double in size to meet the growing demand for its' services.
This is a great opportunity for a digital communications or marketing individual who has worked in a fundraising environment to develop their skills and grow in a role whilst at the same time being a key player in the project to build new income streams and products from the ground up. The project enables the charity to operate sustainably from 2023 and also to consider broadening outside of the North East.
Focused mainly on digital and online campaigns, you'll be a creative and data-savvy fundraising or marketing specialist with a big heart and genuine passion for Wag & Company's vision and values. With opportunity to work imaginatively, you'll lead on multiple channels including social media, website and email campaigns.
Taking ownership of the supporter journey, you'll ensure excellent donor experience through the combined powers of psychology, communications and analytics to increase sustainable, long-term giving. Your exceptional communication skills will enable you to quickly get to grips with Wag & Company's brand voice in order to speak to their supporters authentically.
We're looking for either a fundraising professional with digital knowledge or a marketing and communications specialist with an understanding of community engagement tools looking to work in a more rewarding environment.
We are happy to consider flexible working arrangements and some homeworking.
In return, Wag & Company is offering an unparalleled opportunity for professional development and personal growth working as part of a small, vibrant team who care deeply about what they do and who, every day, are making a difference in their community.
We are interviewing on a rolling basis so please apply ASAP to avoid disappointment.
If you could help WAG & Company fulfil their ambitions, please get in touch with our recruiting partner, Charity People, ASAP with a copy of your CV for lots more information: [email protected]
