North West Air Ambulance's three helicopters fly seven days a week, 365 days a year crewed by a team of highly skilled pilots, HEMS paramedics and a consultant-level doctor; all funded by a talented income and engagement team. During the recent crisis and throughout lockdown, NWAA has continued to fly and provided a dedicated COVID-19 ambulance transport service for the most at-risk patients.
There has never been a more important time for the authentic and visionary leadership of a highly-skilled and experienced Director of Income and Engagement. As for many charities there have been fundraising and commercial challenges during the past few months, but NWAA has a continued commitment and ambition to deliver. This means increasing brand awareness and finding innovative ways to continue to drive fundraising and commercial income.
There's a clear organisational vision and strategy in place centred around patients, people and partnerships. As Director of Income and Engagement, you'll be tasked with joining up NWAA's approach to stewardship for volunteers, donors and supporters in order to increase brand awareness, optimise supporter journeys and maximise income. You'll ensure that NWAA's values are embedded in activity and embodied by staff and volunteers, driving increased engagement and activity of supporter-led fundraising and commercial services.

Who are we looking for?
A fundraising expert with oversight of double figures who has previously led and demonstrated growth of income generation in excess of £3 million. Adept at enabling, empowering and enriching diverse and multi-disciplinary teams. Your previous track-record includes income growth across multiple income streams and you clearly demonstrate how collaboration improves cross-functionality.
You're a strategic and lateral thinker with the ability to translate strategic planning into operational excellence through talented people. You embrace change and are excited and motivated by being ahead of the curve.
