Charity People are thrilled to be assisting Access Sport in their search for a dynamic Finance Director to join their wonderful organisation.

Access Sport works to improve the health and wellbeing of young people and children of deprived communities; with a strong emphasis on young disabled people. They strongly believe in the transformational benefits of inclusive community sport and aim to unleash the untapped potential of community organisations to ensure no one is excluded from sport. They are currently launching a new six year 'game changer' strategy, with the goal of making a significant difference by 2025 and reaching tens of thousands of new participants, strengthening hundreds more communities and encouraging active change throughout the sector. This is a very exciting time to join the team - a critical factor in achieving their ambitious goals will be the ability to implement forward-thinking, future-proofed financial processes and systems.

As Finance Director you will be responsible for the overall sound financial management of Access Sport, and ensuring that the wider organisation enjoys a first-class financial support service. You will also be tasked with managing and supporting other operational functions, including HR, IT and governance. Additionally, as a member of the Senior Management Team you will also contribute to the wider management and strategic planning of the organisation.

This is the perfect opportunity for an ambitious, hard-working individual, passionate about youth and community development and wanting to take on an important role. The successful applicant will be comfortable taking on a variety of roles, be well-versed in financial detail but also visionary in shaping big-picture strategy. We are looking for proactive finance professionals, who enjoy working with diverse teams.

Closing date is 15th October at 5pm with interviews taking place w/c 21st October.
