I'm recruiting for a Fundraising Manager role which is a prominent and key position within the successful fundraising team of this charity that provides end of life and palliative care - a vital resource for many within its community.
The Fundraising Manager will report to the Chief Executive and will manage a fundraising team of seven, working across income streams to undertake the following:
Review, develop and implement fundraising strategy and tactical plans
Take a creative approach to fundraising and donor engagement
Provide leadership, guidance and practical support on all aspects of events, corporate, community and individual giving
Manage the fundraising team of seven and be responsible for maximising opportunities to generate income
Set objectives, monitor performance and undertake appraisals with team
To work closely with other teams to ensure that all departments work together to achieve common objectives and maximise fundraising opportunities
Plan and review fundraising annual budgets alongside the Chief Executive, ensuring that all budgets are achievable and meet agreed targets set
To be responsible for the organisation's annual flagship event and develop the event to maximise the organisation's profile in the community
Plan a programme of activity and engagement opportunities to inspire communities to support the organisation
Increase reach, stakeholder engagement and income to foster long term growth for the organisation
Provide strategic leadership and inspiring management to the fundraising team
The charity is really keen to see applications from individuals with significant management experience gained in a fundraising environment, who thrives on consistently exceeding expectations.
You will have the ability to develop, plan and implement a multi-strand fundraising strategy; and to develop and implement marketing and communications plans to support the delivery of fundraising outcomes. You will be also be a skilled line manager with the ability to coach, develop and lead teams of fundraisers, inspiring people to meet targets and develop income.
