Charity People are working with an ecological research charity based in Cambridge. The organisation has a fantastic reputation as a leading research facility in researching, advocating and writing policies on biodiversity worldwide. We are seeking a Fundraising Officer specialising in Trusts and Foundations to take a lead on Trusts income for the centre.

This role is truly unique and an opportunity that does not come around often. As the Fundraising Officer for the centre, you will be in a position to influence an area of income that has not been utilised. The charity is in an idealistic position to prosper from the impact of the person stepping into this role. Reporting into the Development Manager, you will have the responsibility in securing funds through Trusts and Foundations by writing compelling and high quality applications, fuelled with the incredible work of the centre.

How often do you get to fundraise with scientists? The centre is a leading charity on all things around biodiversity. As a team, they specialise in measuring and identifying the causes of biodiversity change, mapping biodiversity hotspots and priorities, valuing ecosystem services, and evaluating the implications for biodiversity of different land and ocean management options.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and eager individual. Someone who has a true passion for Fundraising. You will bring your out of the box thinking and ability to work on multiple projects to the role.
You will work with a friendly and supportive team within an international, impactful organisation, at the forefront of Conservation, to maximise the charity's current trust and foundation relationships and secure new relationships to enable them to meet their five-year fundraising strategy.
