Are you an experienced Grants Manager? Are you passionate about helping make a real difference to people's lives?
Charity People are excited to be working again with a small but well established charity based in the heart of London to find them a permanent Grant Giving Manager, an integral role to the organisation, whose mission is to help improve lives of families and children by giving them grants.
Recent times with Covid 19 has brought about more enquiries than usual so this is a real exciting time to join and to make a key difference by giving grants to the people who need it most and who lay at the heart of this interesting charity. Your role will be to assistant and manage their grant applications from start to finish and help the charity to continue to grow.
This role requires someone who has lots of empathy, strong relationship building and people skills, who can work flexibly and adapt easily.
To be considered for this post which is integral to this small charity, they really are wanting the successful candidate to have worked in the same role, at a similar level and ideally have worked in a family and people orientated charity. Processes are already in place so they really require someone who can step in at a busy time and who has thorough knowledge in this field who can roll their sleeves up, promote learning and push the charity forward even more so. You will bring an array of skills such as, data protection, advanced Microsoft Office skills, knowledge of CRM systems (ideally ACT) and strong evaluation skills.
Given Covid 19, this post will be interviewed via phone, and initially you will work at home five days per week, but once the charity deems safe to return to the office (probably around August/ September) you will be working in the office five days per week, after a three month probation period there is certainly room for home working days/ flexible working discussions once you are settled in to the post.
Due to the amount of response we receive, unfortunately we are not able to give feedback to every applicant, if you have not heard back within 5 days from the application deadline please assume that you have not been successful for the role you have applied for.
Please note this role has a salary range of £30,000 - £35,000 per annum. There is no room to dicuss a higher salary.
