Individual Giving Manager

Based in South East London, working from home due to Government Guidelines
Our client is a Charity dedicated to providing free, high-quality, compassionate care and support for people with all terminal illnesses, their families, and their carers in the South East of London, who are looking for an Individual Giving Manager to come in on a permanent basis. After overwhelming support from individuals in the last year, this is an exciting time to join the Charity and drive a step-change in income through direct marketing techniques across a broad range of channels.
This role will give you the opportunity to develop and implement a strategy for increasing income across all individual giving streams including regular giving, fundraising appeals, lottery, legacy and in memory giving. This is a great opportunity for someone full of ideas and passionate about great supporter stewardship. You will take a lead on developing and delivering campaigns to acquire and develop supporters, using both traditional and digital platforms from end-to-end including conception, brief, research, copy, data selection, testing, production and fulfilment. This role will have 4 direct reports and will also have budgetary responsibility, strategic decision making and overseeing campaign analysis and insights.
We are looking for someone with a strong background in direct marketing or individual giving - you'll have considerable experience in preparing programmes of activity and business plans to recruit, engage, inspire and retain donors. You should also have experience of developing and implementing an individual giving strategy along with line management experience. Furthermore, you'll have exceptional interpersonal skills, an ability to work across teams, excellent written and verbal communication skills and a keen eye for detail.
