Our client is passionate about enhancing the quality of life of older people. They believe old age should not be defined by loneliness or poverty and they provide direct services to make a difference to the lives of older people, including day clubs, home support, home visiting, telephone friendship and grants giving. When people are no longer able to live independently, they provide support via their residential care homes, nursing homes and dementia care homes.

Charity People are delighted to be leading in the recruitment for an Individual Giving Officer. An exciting and varied role, we're looking for someone to come in and manage a range of campaigns to develop their supporter base and improve the amount of people donating to the Charity. Individual Giving is an important part of the Fundraising team and this role is extremely important. You will manage marketing campaigns ranging from both online (social media, website, email marketing) and offline (post, writing thank you letters, newsletters, telephone calls to thank supporters), developing relationships with agencies, ensuring records are on their supporter database and following up any administration.

We are looking for someone with experience in marketing or fundraising, with experience in providing support or taking a lead on marketing campaigns across a variety of channels. You should have an ability to work on your own or as part of a team and have an ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks. You should also have good experience in Word, Excel and using databases.
