Job description

Working for one of Manchester's leading medical charities, we're looking for an extremely organised professional Legacy Officer to join the Major Relationships team.

Reporting to the Head of Fundraising you'll lead the legacy fundraising programme which aims to manage an effective legacy administration function and to be the first port of call for all enquiries relating to legacies and bequests.

We are looking for someone who is incredibly organised and who can manage sensitive conversations with gravitas and empathy. You'll be understanding and be able to speak confidently with executors and solicitors. While we would love to hear from candidates with legacy fundraising experience we are really open to applications from candidates who are not legacy trained.

This role is part time 3 days per week with a mix of office and home working. This role is an NHS band 5 £25,654 - £31,533 FTE. This is a 12 month Maternity contract to start in January 2022 which will give the opportunity for a solid handover.
