Job description

Do you want to use your marketing and communication skills to support vulnerable children across the world? Dealing with hard-hitting issues like poverty, violence, abuse and neglect, this international development charity supports children in the UK, India and Africa on the streets, in communities and at government level through their campaigning work.

We're looking for an experienced Marketing and Communications Manager to run this busy in-house marketing department. With responsibility for a small, but mighty creative team, you will oversee and project manage an exciting and extensive volume of work across the charity and for its international affiliates.

This is a hands-on role with day-to-day management of the department. Leading the team to deliver an extensive programme of creative content and supporter communications across multiple channels, you'll have a proven track record in developing brands that will enable you to develop the charity's identity across international markets. You'll also work alongside the Director to develop and deliver the group marketing and communications strategy.

Who are we looking for? Someone with:
* Comprehensive understanding of the full marketing mix and a passion for pushing creative boundaries
* A confident leader able to motivate and support teams working at pace
* Proven track record of developing digital audiences and platforms
* Hands-on experience in developing and delivering innovative and targeted communication materials
* Calm under pressure and comfortable and proficient in managing multiple projects simultaneously

Flexible, life and family-friendly organisation with a grown up working culture.

Remote based for the time being. Longer term, you'll enjoy a mix of home and office-based working (Sandbach, Cheshire) in order to make the most of the creative working environment and to support your team.

If you want to make a difference to the lives of vulnerable children across the world, please send your CV to Alice Wood at Charity People for more information.

Deadline: we are accepting CVs on a rolling basis so please apply ASAP to avoid disappointment.
