We are currently supporting an award-winning national charity to find an exceptional 'Part-time Admin Assistant'on a 12 month contract basis. You will join a small and friendly team of 12 to help with the smooth running of their national information and support service.
This national charities 'Information and Support Service' assists people living with or affected by a terminal illness by providing practical information and emotional support online, in print and over the phone.
You will have great people skills, be an excellent administrator and be interested in supporting marketing and communications activity. You will be immersed in a diverse and busy role so you should be a natural multi-tasker. As well as helping organise and minute meetings, you'll be assisting with monitoring and reporting on the charities services, supporting marketing research, and coordinating their publications and marketing materials amongst other things.
As their reporting lead you will need to be comfortable with spreadsheets, data, databases and PowerPoint. You will have good IT skills and embrace digital communications, such as Microsoft Teams or Skype. You'll be happy to pick up the phone and be able to quickly develop good working relationships with colleagues based across different sites, soon becoming the linchpin of the team. Occasional travel to London will be essential in order to work closely with the wider team, as will attending some conferences.
This is a flexible, life and family-friendly employer the role is 21 hours a week with flexibility around the days and the start and finish times.
