Job description

Charity People is thrilled to be heading up the search party for a talented fundraiser to develop corporate and philanthropic relationships for a charity at the very heart of its community in Chester.

The Hospice of the Good Shepherd provides quality specialist end of life care for the people, relatives and carers of their local community. This is a really exciting time for the Hospice and as such they are looking for a Philanthropy & Relationships Manager to join their successful fundraising team. This is a great opportunity to develop and grow their new business pipeline to secure and manage new high value, multi-faceted, long term partnerships for large corporates and major donors.

Our Philanthropy & Relationships Manager will have a track record of developing philanthropic relationships from business and individuals. You'll be driven and excited by the opportunity of significantly increasing income by developing these key revenue streams. You'll have the opportunity to work closely with the Director of Fundraising, Chief Executive and members of the board to put in place a clear strategy for growth.

The organisation also offers flexible, family-friendly working. Their office base is in Chester, but they are happy to work to a hybrid office/home working mix. We would also be really happy to discuss other flexible working arrangements.

For more information and full job brief on this very special opportunity, please contact Amelia Lee or Ellen Drummond at Charity People.

Closing 5th November but please get in touch ASAP so we can start the conversation sooner!
