Charity People are excited to be partnering with a prestigious London-based Cultural Institution to search for a Philanthropy Manager (Trusts) who will be able to support the Charity's vision and development strategy and grow their philanthropic support.

As Philanthropy Manager you will provide account management to the organisation's Trust supporters and work closely with the Head of Philanthropy to drive new business and build the pipeline of Trusts and Philanthropists. You role will be integral to the development of creative approaches to help achieve (and exceed) income targets, deliver objectives and provide excellent, engaging stewardship to funders. You will be responsible for securing a personal target of over £350k each financial year from trusts, foundations and public funding organisations, and build relationships with High Net Worth Individuals and funding organisations that can support the Company in a significant way and in the longer-term.

We are looking for driven and capable candidates experienced in writing and creating successful funding applications with accurate budgets, for 5 and 6 figure bids. You will have a thorough knowledge of grant-making trusts and foundations, livery companies and public funding bodies, their funding criteria and how they operate. The successful applicant will be a confident communicator, apt at building relationships, with a positive attitude and a love for the arts. Additional working may be required away from the office by attending events and venues in London and the regions.
