Charity people are working with one of the leading disabilities charities in the UK to help find someone for a new role as a Prospect Researcher and Philanthropy Officer. This is an ideal role for an individual experienced in researching individuals and Trusts using a fundraising database and eager to further their fundraising career.

This role is a fantastic opportunity with ambitions to make a career in fundraising. You will be best placed to have experience in a fundraising role and experience using a fundraising database.

The role supports both the Major Donor Manager and the Trust Fundraising team. You will spend time securing your own funding through a smaller portfolio of Trusts and Foundations, whilst supporting team members on larger applications. We are looking for an individual confident in researching new trusts and foundations to approach as well as High net Worth individuals. This will entail creating bios of Trustees and HNWI's on the system which will benefit the team, including the Major Donor.

The charity is one of the leading in the disabilities sector. It has a fantastic reputation in developing and bettering their staff. This role is no different. Although you will have your core responsibilities, the team works closely together which create pathways for this person to be a part of larger gifts and high value events.
