Senior Direct Marketing Officer (Retention)

Contract : Maternity Cover 12 Months

We have a truly exceptional role on with a leading Mental Health Charity that is a growing force across the sector in campaigning for change around Mental Health. Sitting within their multi award winning Fundraising Team, this role will focus on retention of supporters.

We are recruiting for Senior Direct Marketing Officer on a one-year maternity cover contract. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and experienced campaign manager to work in an ambitious and fast-growing team. Reporting to the Direct Marketing Manager, the Senior Direct Marketing Officer (Retention) will have responsibility for the supporting development, implementation, management and delivery of the retention programme within Direct Marketing, in order to achieve income targets.

You'll manage 1 Direct Marketing Officer and be responsible for the implementation and delivery of a wide range of campaigns including cash appeals, their supporter magazines, welcome journeys, regular giving upgrades and Payroll Giving. You will have the opportunity to build on and develop a data driven approach that will provide an excellent audience-led experience across multiple channels. You will also be expected to monitor and evaluate campaigns, providing regular financial and key performance indicator updates, recommendations and reports.

We are looking for someone with strong Direct Marketing experience, especially in fundraising, including managing, implementing and evaluating activities across a wide range of channels and products. You should have experience of using insight to test new and different creative approaches across direct marketing audiences, channels and products. We're also looking for someone with experience of evaluating activities and campaigns, writing reports summarising and analysing figures to make recommendations.

Ideally you'll be working in Direct Marketing or Individual Giving for a charity, or have experience on the agency side or for profit clientside.
