Charity People are supporting a wonderful health charity in finding a Senior Philanthropy Manager to take the lead on higher values Trust and Statutory gifts for the charity. This position will line manage and mentor a Trusts Manager who will focus on the lover value gifts.

This position within the Fundraising team is crucial to the charity as a whole. The successful candidates will take the lead in securing five and six figure gifts from an established portfolio, as well as securing new funding. You will manage a Trusts Manager in a dynamic team of two. In the wider team, there is a Prospective Researcher will assist in identifying new and potential funding in the market.
The main responsibilities in this role are to lead and implement an effective fundraising strategy from trusts and foundations to grow income over time in line with the charity's overall objectives. To Developing annual plans and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the trust team, to analyse and assess the effectiveness of fundraising activity.
In terms of performance, there will be an expectation to work with senior staff, Trustees and volunteers to open their networks, support cultivation plans to ensure that peer to peer approaches are maximise, You will also need to work with relevant teams to produce high-quality and inspirational proposals tailored specifically for individual funders.
We are looking for an experienced Trusts fundraiser with recent experience as a manager. This is an idea role for someone looking to manage a small Trusts team, whilst making a big impact on a wonderful charity.
