The team is in an exciting period of growth and as such they are looking for a Senior Sustainable Business Consultant who has a track record of working with businesses, local authorities and groups to identify their carbon footprint, energy and resource use to join the team. Also, key will be experience of delivering high-level support to help organisations develop big picture sustainability strategies, action plans and support delivery.
The exciting role will provide a range of project work from delivering on-site and distant environmental and energy efficiency support, working with emission calculator tools, understanding business costs (both environmental and financial) and identifying opportunities for improvement, to carbon foot-printing and the development of sustainability and carbon management strategies.
We are looking for someone who can show a commitment to sustainability, this may come in the form of formal education, qualifications, relevant experience or membership of a relevant professional body. We would love to see a proven track record in undertaking carbon footprinting work including upstream and downstream scope 3.
This role covers the East of England. You can work from home of from any of their offices including Huntingdon, Hatfield, Luton, Norwich, Ipswich, Colchester. The role does require travel across the patch so you will need to be able to drive. This role can be either full time 37hrs or part time 22.5hrs and we would welcome conversations around flexible working.
This role is a 2 year fixed term contract.
£28,536 - £32,746 FTE
