Charity People are working with one of the UK's leading disability charities in looking for a Statutory and Grants Officer to lead and support statutory funding bids for the charity, as well working effectively with colleagues in London and UK wide to raise funds for UK programming. We are looking for someone with experience working on bids to join the team in this very exciting time to fundraise for UK programmes run by the charity.

Salary: £33,282 (£34,845 after probation)

Joining this team will allow this person the satisfaction that they are having a huge, positive impact on people with disabilities and helping them gain independence and support when needed. The charity that this person will fundraise for will not only add to this already high performing and growing team, but they will see the effects of their work on the people it supports.
We are looking for someone who has an ability to write concise and structured applications and has experience using this ability when applying to the likes of European Social Funds, Big Lottery sources and Local Authorities. You will need to have experience being part of a team where you have led and supported on large six and seven figure gifts and be someone who is motivated by smashing targets. In this role you will be expected to search for new funders, so being able to self-motivate to research into potential new funders is essential.
You will be a positive and creative individual who embraces challenges, enjoys a diverse workload and is able to represent the charity at the highest levels. With success in cultivating new relationships, as well as managing existing donors and clients, you will also be a self-starter with excellent written and verbal communication skills
