As one of the UK's most iconic and recognisable charity brands, the difference BBC Children in Need makes to the lives of disadvantaged children and young people needs little introduction. The 2018 Appeal raised a staggering £58 million and currently supports over 2,700 projects across the UK spanning poverty, disability and illness, distress, neglect and trauma.

As Supporter Care Manager role, you will head up the charity's brand new Supporter Care Team tasked with making donors feel extra special and, ultimately, enabling Children in Need to help more of the growing number of children experiencing ever increasing and more complex levels of disadvantage.

You'll lead a small team during the Children in Need Appeal promotional months providing high quality care designed to activate and enhance support, maximising income for the charity. You'll ensure the team are equipped to deliver an outstanding level of customer service by telephone, letter and email.

Developing robust systems and procedures, as well as a suite of evaluation tools, you'll be right at the heart of the supporter care journey, inspiring and empowering your team.

The 'must have' list:
* Significant success and experience in supporter fundraising
* Solid understanding of techniques to ensure delivery of first class care and support
* Experience of managing and coaching a fundraising team
* Understanding of best practice and charity legislation

Flexible working options based at the BBC's fantastic Media City development. This is an initial 6-month contract with potential for extension dependent on performance.
