Charity People are thrilled to be working with an admirable Endangered Animals Charity to assist them in finding a Trusts and Major Gifts Fundraising Manager for 3-days a week to lead on the Trusts Fundraising whilst supporting other Fundraising operations.
Job Title: Trusts and Major Gifts Fundraising Manager
Organisation: Endangered Animals Charity
Salary: £30,000, £33,000
Working Days: 3-5 days a week (Dependent on Candidate)
Closing Date: 31st May 2019
Be it fluffy or scaly, big or small, four-legged, no-legged or winged - this organisations stands up for animals and their habitats. The delicate ecosystem which we all depend on is under threat; in the UK alone, almost two-thirds of species have declined in the last 50 years and, alarmingly, around the world a quarter of mammals will face extinction within our lifetime. This charity knows that this rate can be stopped and for 40 years their mission has been to improve the outlook of endangered species in Britain and across the world.
This is a small charity with a big heart; they employee 20 staff, have five trustees, and are helped by thousands of volunteers. As Trusts and Major Gifts Fundraising Manager, you will work to identify opportunities, develop strong propositions relevant to strategic objectives and manage administration and reporting requirements for successful projects. You will also have the opportunity to grow larger gifts from individuals and develop an events programme for supporters to meet conservation project leaders. You will be responsible for the management of a few fundraising streams, 60% of which will be focused on Trusts and Foundations; however you will also have the opportunity to work with High Net Worth Individuals, nurturing their relationship with the organisation as well as reviewing and implementing a strategy to cultivate these donors over time.
This is the perfect opportunity for someone determined and passionate to support the cause, who enjoys a diverse and dynamic role. We are looking for someone who can rise to the challenge of developing a larger gift programme, experimenting with approaches and events that bring conservationists and appropriate potential larger gift donors together.
