Offering flexible working with a fun and friendly team, we're looking for a Trusts and Research Officer for the UK's only charity dedicated to the prediction and prevention of breast cancer. Currently, just 4% of cancer research funding is spent on prevention.
With huge opportunity to grow, learn and develop in the role, you'll work with an experienced and highly-skilled Fundraising team to create a future free from breast cancer. What makes this role so unique and special is its dual function: fundraising from trusts and foundations, as well as the coordination and management of the charity's medical research grants.
You'll be strategic and methodical with an interest in a variety of medical research projects and experience of writing persuasive, tailored applications to trusts and foundations ideally at five figure level. You'll be used to working to and achieving income targets, building strong relationships with funders and ensuring progress and outcomes are reported on time.
On the other side of the fence, you'll take a lead role in coordinating the charity's research grant application process, liaising with applicants and reviewers and preparing relevant updates for the Board. This will help to highlight and develop case studies that will inform and enhance your funding applications.
