This charities story spans over 80 years, during which they have made a huge difference to the lives of thousands of people across the UK. From their wellbeing services to pension advice and financial support, this charity delivers a person centred approach to support individuals and they are now looking to reach and help even more beneficiaries.

Reporting into the Trusts Manager the part time (18.75hrs) Trusts Officer will be joining a really successful philanthropy team. With a growing number of repeat funders you will be involved in stewarding those relationships as well as identifying and articulating fundable opportunities and, using a pipeline approach, submitting high quality proposals to potential funders. You will oversee implementation of the grants you win, ensuring that funder conditions are adhered to and you will undertake appropriate reporting.

We are looking for a highly organised self-starter; a storyteller with excellent written English and the ability to proactively seek out funding opportunities. Ideally with experience of Trusts and Foundations you will also have a good grasp of legal, governance and risk issues. You will share the organisation's determination to help the many people and their families in their time of need - and you will be able to inspire this passion in others.

The organisation provide some fantastic staff benefits and a great flexible working policy. Head office is Leicester however they are happy for this role to be predominantly homebased with travel in to the office for meetings and training when needed.

This role is part time 18.75 hours, there is a great deal of flexibility in how these hours are worked across the week.
