Job description

We’re looking for a Content Manager to join our Marketing team based in London:

  • Own and develop a content strategy encompassing all of CharityJob’s digital assets including website, blog and sales collateral
  • Maintain ownership of product copy to ensure that the right message, tone of voice and prompts appear across the site in order to achieve business objectives
  • Develop an editorial calendar and write regularly for the CharityJob career advice and recruiter insights blogs
  • Work closely with the Email Marketing & Automation manager to write copy for newsletters, promotional emails and trigger campaigns
  • Write guides and other long-form content, and brief designers to deliver a finished product
  • Own partner content and look for new opportunities to work with new organisations to co-create content
  • Conduct keyword research to improve the organic reach of the website and blogs
  • Support the Community Manager to proof posts on social channels and the CharityConnect platform

Experience & Role requirements include:

  • Understands the role of content marketing in the overall marketing strategy and customer journey
  • Ability to highlight key feature benefits in new software products and distil into engaging content and copy
  • Excellent copywriting skills, in particular for email campaigns and landing pages
  • Knowledge of SEO and Google Analytics
  • B2B and B2C experience
  • The ability to work on multiple projects at one time
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with an appetite to improve internal processes
  • Experience of working with and managing third-party suppliers and freelance writers
  • An excellent eye for detail and good proof-reading skills
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Team player
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
